Today was a beautiful day and we took some time to enjoy the hospitality of the fine people of Gretna while walking the district. I even had a chance to help some people who were moving some furniture! All in all it was a great day!

Thank You.
My Platform
I believe the strength of our state is in its people. I believe that good government should guarantee to its individuals equality before the law
I believe that government should promote the health, welfare, and safety of the individual and that government’s proper function is to do only those things which individuals cannot do for themselves.
My parents, teachers, and coaches instilled the desire to work hard and take pride in a job well done. 20 years service in the United States Air Force further solidified the importance of dedication and devotion to something larger than myself.
I am a conservative and believe in the importance of individual rights and of limited government.
With these principles, I believe I am the candidate for people who desire a positive and responsive government at the state level.

Currious encounters
Life on the campaign trail does provide some great moments. Just after the Spring Red& White game I was driving back on Cornhusker Highway and the gentleman pulling up beside me asked for Yard Signs. Of course my first thought was whether or not he lived in the district! Turns out he does, and his yard is now proudly displaying 2 of the newest signs, one in front and another in back (lives on a golf course).
For those of you wanting a sign they are in and ready to be delivered.
Spring Game
It was a beautiful day for football, and both the son and I had a great time in Lincoln. The stadium was sold-out and a record for a spring game. In my opinion the Huskers are going to do much better this coming year, and the players are going to have more fun along the way.
Of course it was back to the campaign trail after the game and we had a lot of fun talking with many who had just returned from the game too. I also had a person waiting at a stop light in Lincoln who asked for yard signs for his home, he of course lives in the district. So it was a great day all the way around!

Home Schooling
I would like to take a brief moment to pass along my view on home schooling. To be brief I believe that if a parent wants to provide for their child's education via home schooling then they should be afforded that opportunity. I DO NOT believe there should be any further legislation and or regulations heaped on parents.
